Advanced Collaborative Design Studio  /  Spring 2023
This collaborative retail studio blends the talents of third- and fourth-year students from industrial, interior, and visual communication design programs to create a concept and space related to slow food and food justice. Our team created Roberta’s Place, a conceptual community center in Cleveland, OH that seeks to alleviate food insecurity for low-income single-parent families in the area. Although some deliverables, such as the interior spaces, were handled by other individuals, I was involved in most aspects of the project. I was largely responsible for the concept itself, brand strategy and identity, and visual positioning, as well as developing all of the presentation decks. This was my favorite project from all four years of my time at Ohio State because I was able to combine my passions for both design and nonprofit work.
